I finally noticed that my blankets had a little loop at the end of the tail flap so in addition to putting his tail up in a bag I put it through that loop and it helps an amazing amount. Not sure if your blankets have that but if they do I highly recommend!<br />I do also give him bio sponge in the winter (at a small dose) which helps make things more solid so he gets less down his back legs as well (his issue is free fecal water). Assure guard gold saved his life last winter when he was so full of sand/dirt and nothing was working so he's on that forever, but bio sponge really makes his care more manageable in the winter when the hay messes with him.
